The Challenge

Roofing contractors bidding an unfamiliar building face one awkward unknown: what sits beneath the surface. A membrane can look perfectly sound while half the deck carries saturated insulation. Price it without knowing and you either pad the number and lose the tender, or win it and absorb the difference when tear-off exposes wet board. Meanwhile the tender closes on Friday, and an evaluation that takes three weeks to land is no help to anyone.

Our Solution

We carry out independent evaluations for other roofing firms: infrared moisture surveys, core cuts with photographed sections, fastener pull testing where the spec calls for it, and a written recommendation on repair against full replacement. Reports are issued within three working days and formatted to drop straight into a tender submission without rewriting.

The contractor needed to know how much existing insulation could stay before committing to a fixed price. Core samples were taken across four zones and mapped against the infrared survey to define the wet area precisely.
Summery

“Bidding blind on an unfamiliar deck is expensive. Our evaluations combine infrared survey, core samples and pull testing into one report you can hand straight to the client, issued in three working days rather than three weeks.”

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on inspections, diagnosis, the buildings we work on, and what happens once the job is done.

What type of clients do you work with?

Residential owners make up most of our work, alongside commercial and industrial clients — warehouses, retail units and offices — plus insurers and property managers who need documented assessments.

How long does a project take to complete?

Small repairs are same-day. A typical replacement takes two to four days on site, plus about a week between approval and start while the materials are ordered.

Do you provide development services too?

Yes. We take on new-build and extension roof packages for developers and main contractors, from deck and underlayment through to flashing, drainage and handover documentation.

How do you guarantee design quality?

Certified crews, three inspection points during the build, and a written workmanship guarantee. Nothing is closed up before it has been checked and photographed for your project file.

What services do you offer?

Inspections and written reports, leak tracing, storm repair, full tear-off and replacement, new installation, gutter and flashing work, and annual maintenance plans.

What is your design process?

Inspect, specify, quote, install. The specification stage covers material, ventilation, drainage and colour, and you approve it in writing before anything is ordered.

Can you redesign my existing app or website?

For re-roofing an existing property, yes — we change material, profile and detailing, and we will tell you upfront if the existing structure needs strengthening to carry it.

What if I don’t know exactly what I need?

Most people don’t. Start with the free inspection: you get a plain-language report on what is urgent, what can wait a season, and what each option costs.
